The deadline for turning in money to
be a hero has been extended to August 15, 2008. We've heard from a lot
of you and we're happy to report that you now have extra time to turn in
money via MDA's custom Web site through mid-August.
It's easy to register, and helping MDA
is your ticket to the Parade of MDA Heroes in
MDA SUMMER CAMP IS IN FULL SWING
Summer is MDA Summer Camp time and H.O.G.
chapters and riders are visiting MDA Summer Camps across the country to make
a great week even more memorable for youngsters with muscular dystrophy and
related diseases. Children served by MDA often list "Harley Day" as a highlight
of camp, and are delighted to get the chance to sit on a bike, listen to the
thunder of riders entering their campground, or even take a sidecar ride.
Not
only to Harley-Davidson riders make special camp memories like these, but the
money you raise for MDA helps make sure programs like summer camp will continue
to guarantee "the best week of the year" for Jerry's Kids nationwide.
